The 4 Key Elements of GENUINE CONNECTIONS HorseManShip
My personal goal is Classical Dressage - with an emphasis on love, peace, understanding and FUN for HORSE & HUMAN. Yes, I feel this is NOT an oxymoron and you don't have to be interested in dressage at all, but read on if you want the safety, security and confidence for your horse (and yourself).
When when want the very best for our horse, we need to strive for Physical, Mental & Emotional Well-Being, AKA BALANCE. By nature, our horses' bodies are not designed to carry a rider, along with improper hoof care and a horse who lives in self preservation and self protection so many horses loose their well-being and balance at an early age.
BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE THAT WAY!
Here you can see the Classical Dressage Pyramid to Collection, actually, my modification of it. These principles are the foundation of my program but the pathway to achieve this principles and the application thereof, is unique.
INSTEAD of micromanaging the horse into rhythm, my program teaches you how to create Rhythm with daily positive patterns, the Happy Horse Inventory.
INSTEAD of creating only physical relaxation, my program aims to STAY in mental, emotional and physical Relaxation,
which in return means your horse has no brace, tension, stress, worry, anxiety or fear (mentally, emotionally and physically).
INSTEAD of creating connection to the bit, I'll teach you how to create Inter-Connection between you and your horse.
And those three elements are the basis of Safety, Security & Confidence , not just for the human, but for the Herd of 2, for YOU AND YOUR HORSE!

Module 1 - RHYTHM
Happy Horse Inventory
The moment you approach your horse, your horse forms an opinion of you: Are you dominant, non-assertive, or her true LEADer? When you don't know what to look for, it's normal to miss points of connection, trust, willingness and respect. Your foundation for riding can be incomplete. The Happy Horse Inventory will fill those holes.
Module 2 - RELAXATION
Relaxation, Relaxation, Relaxation
Rhythm creates Relaxation, the foundation for Inter-Connection and a safe, inter-connected relationship. Learn the step-by-step approach to help your horse release self preservation & self protection so your horse can respect and see you as her LEADer. A relaxed horse is a horse is a horse that feels safe, therefore you are safe!
Module 3 - CONNECTION
Is my Horse Really Rideable?
Scary experiences and even accidents are often the norm with horses. My step-by-step, simple and proven system, the Get-Ready-to-Ride-Safety-Check-Sequence will help you to communicate just like horses do, with intent, energy and body language so your horse can find rhythm, relaxation and inter-connection under saddle. No matter what outside circumstances, habituation (NOT desensitization) will help your horse become calm, responsive and brave.
Module 4 - SPA WEEK
Before You Get in the Saddle
It's all about YOU: Discover the 4 Elements of Self Knowledge, how to create a positive mindset and apply effective strategies to create a deeper relationship and successful ride before you ever put your foot in the stirrup. You will discover how to easily increase your safety, comfort and confidence - with no overwhelm.
Module 5 - INTENT, ENERGY, BODY LANGUAGE
Foundational Riding Skills Revisited
I will show you how to elevate the quality of foundational riding maneuvers so your horse can become a willing, responsive, fun & safe riding partner. Discover how to refine your communication in the saddle to intent, energy & body language to establish inter-connection with your horse - versus applying micro management and control.

Final Evaluation & Roadmap

The Retreat: Olivia's First Ever Experience with Horses
